I come from the city of jugendstyle, called Riga. I live here since I had started studies in University of Latvia. Originaly my native town is Ogre in Latvia, very funny name for English talking people. I speak Russian, Latvian and English.

I've got a diploma of teacher of visual art and art history. I work as a graphic designer in the international company.
I studied in Denmark for 4 months in 2007, when I realized that my interest is in international porjects in education. This year I was lucky to participate in one project's development, which maybe will change our university's life to the better side.

I'm glad that I have chance to be here on International Project Week to get deeper knowledge in project management and gain experience in relationships, team work with people from different parts of the globe.

Beside studies I'm interested in travelling, oil painting and doing sports.
To be continued...

*Epilogue*
I participated in the International Project Week as one of Latvian team. The process of working each time in different group gave me the result of the main goal, which I wanted to achieve: to share ideas and knowledge with people of various backgrounds.
I came out with new view on Project Management as complex of diverse processes, which differs in each country. I’m concerned that different approaches in learning Project Management’s theory and in finding practice in several countries is the best way to gain the better understanding and to find your own opinion or right instrument for you or your company.
Teamwork and some tasks weren’t new for me, but themes like Object Role Modeling, Metacognitive thinking were unknown to me. Lectures in English about Risk Management, Time scheduling in project, etc. were very useful for me, because of terminology. I was used to use the Project Management’s names of processes or elements mostly in Latvian. Also Time scheduling differs. Now I’ll understand more approaches how to count time periods and it’s reserves.

This time it was nice to meet so hospitable guys from Brasil, Nepal and Pakistan and professor P. Reusch, who took responsibility of Latvian team to show Dortmund and find the best way of staying there. Evening activities gave the opportunity to know more about German students life and attitude toward studies and spare time.
I hope that the plans of International Project Week 2010 in Latvia won’t be only plans.
I’m looking forward to our next cooperation with EuroMPM and BA students and teachers, as well as teachers and students from other countries.
